That great stand-up philosopher Billy Connolly says he tells his children to ‘see what type of store window they are drawn to’ in order to work out what they want to do in life. ‘Like music stores, antique stores, tailoring stores’ he says, ‘whatever it is you keep being drawn to. Because it’s no mistake you are drawn. Something’s telling you, this is the direction you should be going, that’s the way your life should go’.
